From the moment we first spoke to Diana and Shaun, our hearts melted and we knew this was the type of love they made movies about. Shaun, born and raised in Johannesburg, moved halfway across the world and after locking eyes with Boston-beauty Diana on a random night out, their fates were sealed.
After a bit of deliberation and a glass of champagne or two, it was decided that Cape Town was the perfect place to say 'i-do'. They spent a week in Camps Bay before the wedding exploring the best the Cape has to offer and off to Stellenbosch they travelled for a breathtaking reception dinner and one of the most memorable wedding celebrations we have ever had the privilege to document at Nooitgedacht Estate.
We were lucky enough to spend three days with these two, their friends and family from all over the world documenting not only a true fairytale, but also the breathtaking beauty that is Cape Town, proving once again why it is such a popular choice for destination weddings.

They opted for a welcome dinner in the garden - with long tables and fairly-lights adorning the trees above the guests, it created the most magical and intimate setting for family and friends to laugh, cry and just be in the moment. The wedding reception was nothing short of grand with greenery spilling from the ceiling and a playful disco ball installation above the dancefloor - all beautifully arranged by the talented N'Concepts & Design team. Coordination and wedding planning was expertly executed by Tracy and her team from Trunk Events.
