Spoiler: it’s a bit like marriage
FILMING
WEDDINGS
WITH YOUR
PARTNER

Running a wedding film business with your life partner is… well to be honest, intense. Beautiful. Hilarious. Wild.
Here’s what it’s really like to spend every wedding day - and every editing night - with the person you also do dishes with.
qual parts love and communication

it’s a reflection of our own love story
We Know Each Other’s Moves Without Speaking
On a wedding day, time is tight, emotions run high, and there are a hundred things happening at once. But filming with your partner means you’ve got this weird telepathic rhythm.
If Stephan moves left, Lizé already knows to go right. If one of us gets emotional behind the camera (it happens more than we’ll admit), the other is already quietly adjusting the angle to catch the moment.
It's like dancing to your own rhythm - and if you’ve seen our impromptu kitchen dances, then you’ll know it doesn’t really make any sense, but it works.
Different Strengths, Same Vision
Lizé sees the story. She hears the emotion in a voice, the rhythm in the vows, the way a tiny glance can carry a whole love story.
Stephan sees the frame. He’s watching the light shift, chasing the perfect silhouette, and making sure the drone doesn’t crash into a tree - 9.5 times out of 10 it doesn’t.
We bring different things to the table - but when it all comes together, the result is something neither of us could’ve done alone.
We Laugh. A Lot.
We’ve filmed in 40-degree heat, in sideways rain and gale-force winds, and at midnight barefoot on a dance floor. And through all of that, we’ve laughed our way through it.
Working with your person means the stress hits softer. The inside jokes hit harder. And when you’re filming a couple wildly in love, it’s kind of contagious.
It’s Not All Cute and Cozy
We won’t pretend it’s all butterflies. We’ve disagreed over color grading. Differed about lens choices. Debated timelines deep into the night. But, as they say, two heads are better than one.
The beauty is, we’re both obsessed with getting it right - for you. That’s what makes it work. We trust each other, we push each other, and at the end of the day we’re in it for the same reason: to tell your story beautifully. Because we would have wanted someone to do the same for us.
We Care
We get emotional during speeches. We replay your vows while editing. Giggle when you have a contagious laugh. We’ve re-exported whole films just to adjust one frame. That’s the truth of what it’s like to do this as a couple - we feel deeply connected to the people we film.
Because we know what this day means. We’ve stood where you stand. And every time we film a wedding, we’re reminded why we said “I Do” in the first place.
Filming weddings together isn’t just our job - it’s a reflection of our own love story. Two mad, strange, imperfect humans doing life together. And if that’s not what marriage is, we don’t know what is.

Working together as husband and wife means more than sharing a camera crew. Lizé sees the story unfolding in the words, emotions, and little details, while Stephan focuses on the visuals, light, and composition. Together, we bring two perspectives and one shared vision to every wedding film. It’s personal, occasionally chaotic, and rooted in the belief that your story deserves to be told with genuine care.
